Looking for help

Hello,
Im looking for some help with getting my dish back up and running again. Here's some of my info.

* Manufacturer-------------- Viewsat
* Model--------------------- VS2000 Extreme
* Software Version ---------- not sure
* Type of switch(es) used --- not sure
* Network/Satellite ---------- ******** 7 119.0W
* Type and Size of dish(es) -- regular dishnetwork satellite
* Type of lnb(s) used -------- not sure

Also include your settings for all satellites you are trying to get.

* Degree -------------------- not sure
* LNB type ------------------ standard
* LNB Freq ----------------- 11250
* TP Freq. -------------------12224
* DiSEcQ vs. ----------------- not sure
* DiSEcQ 1.0 --------------------- none
* 22 KHZ --------------------- off
* multi-switch ---------------- not sure

* What is/are the problem(s) -- My system was working for awhile then a couple months ago i stopped using it. It sat for some time and I didnt upgrade the files for a couple months. I am trying to get it working again and today I downloaded the 5 most recent file downloads and uploaded them to my receiver. When I turned it on and tryed to get it running it shows a satellite signal but says "no video or audio."
* What have you tryed? -- The only thing I have tryed is to download and upload the most recent files.

Thanks for any and all help. Also, if you need more info., and could possibly direct me for providing it for you, let me know.

The files are for Telefonica only. Unless you live in South America they will not work.
There are no stand alone fixes that are working at this time. No one knows when there will be a file release.

All information provided is purely speculation as I do not test. Use the provided information at you own risk.

To put it simple....ALL Veiwsats are DOWN. Not expecting to be up anytime soon. VS can only be used for TRUE FTA right now.

If you want some tv then you will need to buy one of them. Do some research and that will help you decide what is the best receiver for your needs.

Just keep in mind that all of the working receivers require an internet connection to work, there are NO stand alone fixes as of to date.

true fta is programming that can be obtained by using your viewsats and a dish.preferably a 30 inch or larger dish and having a motorized setup wont hurt either.if you go to the main page of this site and scroll down a bit you will see the true fta section.fta does not require a bin file but you will also not be getting the programming that you are used to getting with your vs

I DO NOT TEST.I DO NOT CONDONE ANY ILLEGAL ACTIVITY.ANY INFO THAT I SEEK OR PROVIDE IS SOLELY FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.USE AT YOU OWN RISK.USE YOUR STB FOR TRUE FTA CHANNELS ONLY

Experience....what you get when you don't get what you want.
i know nothing and anything i say is pure speculation,i am basically brain dead for all practical purposes

How do they work? Is it a wireless connection. Tried reading sections for those boxes but couldn't find this info. Thanks
