Viewsat Support Discussion And Support

All channels have now switched to the new Nagra3 encryption which has NOT been opened as of now. We recommend that all members consider testing alternative method's, Such as Nfusion,K-Box,Sonicview an Conaxsat!!

No it hooks up to your router/modem only to get the keys to unlock the programming. It works like your viewsat but instead of using a file to unlock the programming it just needs to be connected to the server through your router only to get the keys to unlock programming. You computer doesn't need to even be on....

I have both the Solris and the phoenix and I think the phoenix has a better picture and faster channel change....but either one will get you alot of channels...Still waiting for movie PPV's but they are comming soon. Pretty much the rest is open and runs steady....

You just load in an older bin like 152v bin using the loader program and null modem cable...then you can update from the internet via your menu to update to latest update bin which is 153.1v...but you must intall the older 152v bin as your first file. Or their is the webloader method which is very easy...but I recommend using the loader 1.31 program and cable to load first file..it is really easy just like the way you did it using the cable with your viewsat...
