yes it is deffitnately over the pacific ocean, just point your dish towards Australia............

Thanks for the info. Will a 18" dish work such as an old DTV dish and lnb. I just happen to have an old DTV dish with lnb lying around, if that will work for 148W then i will put it up and try that.

did you go to dishpointer.com to get the right direction? it is very hard to hit from what I hear.

I went there and it tells me to point my elevation at 12.9, my dish don't go that low, if you put it at 12.9 that would almost be pointing at the ground, I know that can't be right. Also it says it is at 255 degrees, in all the years I've been playing around with finding all these sattelites I can't ever recall finding anything at that location. So far I've been able to locate ES4,ES10,ES7AMC6,Nimiq1 but no ES1. I'm in Georgia down here near florida, that would be eastern time zone. I'll keep trying, but any hel would be apreciated, also on what sattelite is the Korean network found for DN?

What kind of dish do I need? I already tried my Superdish, don't get it... I put up my DTV dish, still can't get it. Do I need to go purchase one of those 30" or 24" dish with the lenear LNB? I pretty much gave up trying to find 148 and just shot the darn thing at Nimiq1 and left it there to wait for the N3 fix. Too much headache trying to get 148W, the mesuitos are too bad down here to staty out there for to long tryin to find a stupid sattelite.
