motorized hookup to two receivers

got a hotdish, sv 360 elite, sg 6000 motor, invacom QHP-031, (2) 4x1 Disqeqc, plus one 4x1 I already had etc..... I would like to use an old dp-34 box and exist cabling for 4 rooms in house to connect the sv 360 elite and a vs 2000 ultra, and add a couple receivers at a later date. Box has 3 connectors marked "to dish" which were originally used and 3 available connectors marked "to additional switches", can I use this box to do this ? if so I need a wiring configuration to get me to the box please.

Im afraid not. The dp34 switch is bandstacked for their lnb's only. The best thing I can offer is to try a zinwell or any other multi switch that has a two sat input with each sat having a 13v, and a seperate 18v input. You would go from the stb to the motor then to the first output on the switch. Then your switch would be connected to the lnb with the first 13v input to the circular out, then the first 18v input to the lnb's other circular out. Then connect the linear ports to the second sat inputs the same way. Now you can connect any stb you want to any of the remaining ports. It sounds like alot, but it is real simple to do. Of course, only the box connected through the motor will control the motor, so all other boxes will have to watch the same sat. If this sounds good to you, I can draw up a diagram on how to connect the switch and boxes for you. BG

zinwell 4x4 is even better. That will leave the option to add two more birds to your setup, of course you have all the sats with the motor but it is nice sometimes to add stationary dishes for the most watched sats, this save channel changing time. I will draw it up when im through with work tonight, all I have to do is figure out how to upload a picture to this thread...........YIKES!!!
