Reviving a sonicview 4000 with 8888 on display
After researching all the possible fixes and none working. Loading it manually or force loading

Using a cable to manual load ,,,,,or usb thumb drive....

None worked I checked voltage and found that when displaying 8888 is caused due to an interruption in power when loading a file ......

This can be duplicated with any SV4000. Now with 2 units displaying 8888 on the display we needed a fix. None of the posted fixes were doing anything to remedy this issue but after taking the cover off and unplugging the main board and turning the unit on from back power button for a count of around 5 secs, then turning it back off again, plugging main board back in and turning unit back on SV4000 fired right up and worked great. I then loaded a factory file with usb drive and all was good again. Now to see if this was a fluke or a fix, I repeated the whole process again on unit number 2 and all worked fine. So this to me is a great way to revive a frozen Unit with an 8888 on the display.
