For I *** Users

c/p

Attention I *** Users: More work is required to restore all pre-existing channels and some newer ones. Please remain as patient as possible while the Sonicview *** support team continues to resolve remaining technical issues. Sonicview I *** *** will soon be out of BETA! YELLOW Status still applies until the work is done. All Sonicview I *** users should use Wiznet to update the I *** to Version 1.4 and ensure your settings have DNS enabled pointing to svftaiks. You should also have the July 9th files loaded and not use any third party software such as BlackRock. You should also avoid sitting on non-working channels as this puts an additional strain on the servers fetching non-existent codewords. Please power down your Sonicview receiver when not in use.

Is it true that if I have DNS enabled pointing to svftaiks, it will enable my IP address to be exposed?

Your IP is always exposed when on the net. You can run a proxy and it will help shield it but if someone tries hard enough they can still get your IP.
(I have no idea how to set up a proxy for your equipment. )

All information provided is purely speculation as I do not test. Use the provided information at you own risk.
