testing the server for the elite ,how???
thanks dunger for this info, i found this very useful

How to figure out if the server is up or down (new method)
How to figure out if the server is up or down (new method) and enter info as in the image below.

Then click on "Check"
Port should show open. If it is closed, then server is down...

Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router

now do you know how to check server status for the elite,? on the premier theres a option for s/w upgrade in the menu tree ,but not the elite,
been looking web and other forums and nothing about this.

did't see this post before, thanks guy,
but still no s/w upgrade on the elite or i just can't find it on the elite , i hear this feature is on all other sv. rx.s .have you read any info about this or will this be written in future updates, or will this option ever be available for the 360e.
