i had to exchange satopia rec's. I just set up new one. My question is after loading file and scanning sats i am gettng channels but as i surf thru channels some of them come in immediately, others will say searchjng for signal, some will say no audio or video but if i bypass these channls and then come to them they will come on. Is this just something to do with dn messing with signals? As i understand it autoroll is encoded in file. The reason i bring this up is because in the setup info it states that after i scan sats and save i go to channels and let them autoroll. I am going to assume that this happens or i would be having a problem. Anyway if anyone else encounters this i would be interested and if there is a solution. Thanks for any info.

well in my oppinion try to do a hard reboot or rescan it it got tobe work this way to another

I know that rebooting has to do with turning switch on back off and on but is this done with rec. on or off? In other words in what order? And by rescanning you mean reautoscanning each dn sat like i did when i set it up?

yes that is what quoctran is saying. first delete channels and rescan using autoscan like you did at setup.
