pc wont startup

when i turn my pc on from the front the light flicks but does not turn on
why could it be a bad power supply.

bad connection or power supply or it could be that it is windows operating system and that OS is the only OS made to rust..(microsoft) (big&hard)...

How far does it go before it crashes? Do you see windows screen? anything at all?
