Making MAME work
Make sure the ROMs are in the same folder as the 32. Try running it in XP compatibility mode as well. See previous posts for some other issues. I had the same problem; I diddled with it and got it running, but it's been years, I don't remember exactly what I did. The audio.dll is with the zip file, you may have to install it separately.
Now Testing (in order of appearance)

CaptiveWorks 600s
CaptiveWorks 600s Premium
CaptiveWorks 800
CaptiveWorks 100R
ViewSat Xtreme
ViewSat Platinum Lite 2000
ViewSat Ultra
VisionSat IV200
SonicView 360 Elite

Rock 160G External HD ( Western Digital drive)
Rock 200G
Iomega 120G
Rock 300G
