Pansat 3500SD Loading the V302

Pansat 3500SD Loading the V302 C/P
Loading V302 CORRECTLY!
I have read so many posts dealing with this problem and that problem with bin 302 that I am reposting this for all to see. If the following is followed to the letter, you will be up and running on dn and whats left of ***. I can't stress enough, NO SHORTCUTS!

I'm batting 100% doing the upgrade this way. Everything can be done with the SD card.

1. Do a factory reset with the file you have in the reciever now. Do not save channel list!

2. Load the LATEST factory Pansat file.

3. Do three factory resets with the factory file! I don't care if you want to or not. Do it.

4. Reflash straight to the v302 file.

5. Setup your antenna settings.

6. Do a SAT. SCAN! Do not do a blind scan! Do not load channel list!

7. Set your timezone and user settings.

8. Renumber your locals.

9. Watch tv.

I have seen so many people say, "I didn't have to do all that!" or "I wanted a channel list." Well you can want all you want, It don't mean you will get it. And if you do, there are others that have different setups and will not. So just because you "got it to work without doing all that", Don't mean crap. You just got lucky. Do the above and get it done correctly. I support so many 3500's locally I have been busy for a month updating people. I have yet to have one not take. I can also state that since v-302, I have had video after the first scan on all machines. To this day I have had no complaints from anyone I support locally. I have also had no complaints on the web where I have shared this info. Now that's alot of recievers. I really hope this clears things up. I'm not casting blame on anyone. However I do feel that we in general have gotten lazy and spoiled with the support we have been getting. We have forgotten the all important word here, "testing". So load the reciever correctly and Have a great day!
