2700A not downloading
im trying to download the new code into my receiver for the first time, i have the loader program and winrar but when i click on "download" after importing the new bin "206" nothing is happening..it just says " 0%" any suggestions?

Check ur cable connection with the receiver and pc... Also try unplugging the null cable and turn ur receiver off and then on from the back then try again.

***meanwhile, there is some freezing on the latest fixes, so wait for updates plz.***

did you unzip the file and also is this the cable that came with the stb

how do i unzip the file? and what is an SBT? you will have to forgive my idiotism as i am in the medical field. this unzipping files and SBT stuff is WAY above my head. please explain your answers to me as if i were a 5th grader.
thanks. i ordered the rs232 cable on the internet.. i understand bin206 is down but i wont be able to download the new bin if i cant figure out how to download period..

STB = Set Top Box aka Receiver.

How to Unzip: You have to use a software called winzip to open the .zip file. Look under the PC section for download or simply google.

For your pansat you would need a null cable not RS32. The openings to both are slightly diff. U can get the null cable at any electronics store.
