If you are reffering to the channel name as long name, you can edit channels and call them what youlike to call them by going to menu/channel edit/oooo/rename/highlite the channel in the list you want to rename/press ok button on remote/ move the white box to the letters and every time you get to the letter you want press enter until you have the name you want and then go to the bottom left corner of the menu and tel it ok.
When you have finished renaming all the channels, back out by hitting exit button and when asked to save tell it ok for yes and you should be able to see long names or channels you named in your EPG.
Hope this is what you were looking for.
