How to Enter Keys Manually
Although STB's are all setup with autoroll bins now a days, sometimes manual entry is required, whether for the alternative *** Provider ID's or for the normal games.
Press menu button on your remote:
#1 Go to parental control...
#2 Go down to "second pin" option & enter 0000
#3 Then go to nagra 2 and select it by pressing "OK" on remote
#4 In Nagravision window you should be in the box that is Called "Prov.ID"...scroll to the right (press right arrow button on remote) until it switches to DN (0101) The Provider ID for *** is (0901)
#5 Now In Nagravision window scroll down to the box that contains "00" this is the "Key String"
#6 Scroll down again to key data and enter the new supplied key, NOTE: to change letters, look in the lower portion of the screen (ex. letter E=FAV; F= SAT button on remote)
#7 Once key is edited select OK button on your remote (OK-STORE confirmation blinks twice in lower right of screen)
#8 go back to the "00" box and move one click to the right which should take you to "01"..this is to edit the "01" key string
#9 Follow Steps 5 thru 7 above (this time enter key data for key 01)
#10 Click exit and click OK or yes to save changes then exit
For 5000 and 6000's
MENU>CHANNEL EDIT>CODE <enter password> - NAGRAVISION -
Then you use the arrow keys to move to the correct provider, go down to the key you want to change and use your remote to change it.
2 = 2,A,B,C
3= 3,D,E,F... Etc. Be sure to save all changes
