Question No hdmi audio output
I am trying to get full HDMI connections on my 9200 but I can't get audio output to work unless I use the RCA output cables with the HDMI cable.

Does anyone know or has anyone had any luck with audio output with the 9200 ?

I have tried it with two 9200 STB's and two different HD TV's and still have had no luck.


Both of the TV' s are new full 1080i 1080P if that helps, I was told that the 9200 does not carry audio output across the HDMI cable or that the HDMI cable could be wrong, but I have done my homework as far as cables go.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Same problem with my 9200HD. Had to route RCA cables for audio. Hope they plan to cure this problem soon!

Telefonica, aka, amazonas is a provider just like dn & bv3.
The satellite is mostly aimed at south america.
61w, amazonas is the satellite that carries the programming.

The programming is in spanish and portugues.

Can i get amazons?

It is only for those in south america & caribben areas.

The footprints does not reach the united states.
Fta hobbyists in north america phyically can not
receive this signal.

There is no need to load these files unless you
are testing the channels on 61w amazonas satellite.

If you see any files stateing (telefonica) or (amazonas)
fta users in north america need not to worry about them.

my 9200hd is just working fine u may need to try the gold sony hdmi ones
