How To Jtag Pansat 3500S

Instruction how to Jtag 3500S. 100% Working.
1. Connect cable to receiver and computer and turn on the power switch on back of receiver
2. Start Wall_v2.0 and click on OK on the Warning Message
3. Click on Reset uP and close the waning message again. do this 2 more times closing the warning message each time
4. Leave the wall program open and do not close it
5. Start the Unlock program
5. Under the IRD Model select STi55xx_2M
6. Click on Flash Programming a window will open up just hit OK to continue on
7. Click on UNLOCK and wait until it completes
8. Close that window and close the unlocker program but leave Wall open
9. Start JKEYS and under the IRD Model select STi55xx_2M
10. Click on Flash Programming a window will open up just hit OK to continue on
11. Click on ERASE (just under the work Full)
12. Wait for it to finish erasing
13 Now hit Program and select the correct bin file either 2700A or the 3500S depending on which one you are fixing.
14. After it has completed programming you can hit OK, close down Jkeys and wall and turn off the receiver from the back
15 Unhook the JTAG cable and turn the receiver back on and it should start up.
16. Receiver now show B-70. Open GTRomloaderv35.01_pansat3500S
17. Select bin Pansat_3500S_060526_122_api
18. Click Download (This will get rid of B-70 and now receiver will show "ON")
19. Open GTRomloaderv35.01_pansat3500S
20. Select bin boot_ltc80__06_1019 and hit Download (This will upgrade to B-80)
21. Receiver now shoe B-80 Select bin Pansat 3500S_061217_B80_v02_api
22. Click Download. Now your receiver should be display "ON"
23. Load the latest Bin for Pansat 3500S
24. ENJOY TV


Building Jtag Cable 3500s

Here is what you will need:

5 100Ohm Resistors
Male DB25 connector
IDE cable.

I cut the IDE cable in half length-wise so that I ended up having a 20-pin 20-wire cable.

My 3500s already has a 20-pin JTAG header which makes it easier. I understand from other posts that sometimes you will need to solder stuff onto the board...

Here is Adversary's pinout:

DB25 male connector .........................To Pansat JTAG plug (20 pin header)
Pin 2 -------------> 100 ohm resistor ---------------> JTAG Pin 9
Pin 3 -------------> 100 ohm resistor ---------------> JTAG Pin 11
Pin 4 -------------> 100 ohm resistor ---------------> JTAG Pin 13
Pin 5 -------------> 100 ohm resistor ---------------> JTAG Pin 19
Pin 13-------------> 100 ohm resistor ---------------> JTAG Pin 15
Pin 18~25------------------------------------------> Pansat GND (JTAG pin 16 is GND)
