This is a Channel Edit program that can be used same as Channel Master. I am posting it for those who have issues using Channel Master or running CM on there computer.
Same rules apply as Channel Master when reading or writing a channel list to receiver and that is
"Receiver must be fully booted to ON" before Uploading or Downloading Channel List to your receiver.

Reading Channel List:

Turn receiver ON , "Let receiver fully boot to ON".
Open gToolsp (Ch Editor187).
Click TOOLS, "Connect to Receiver".
UPLOAD (to Read Channel List from receiver).

When Upload completes Edit Channel list then save new Channel List.

Writing Channel List:

Turn receiver ON , "Let receiver fully boot to ON".
Open gToolsp (Ch Editor187).
File, OPEN and select your Channel List.
Click TOOLS, "Connect to Receiver".
DOWNLOAD (to Write channel list to receiver).

When Download completes receiver will reboot with your new Channel List.

I had forgot to mention that when you want to EDIT your Channel List you will notice the List of SATS on the left side of gToolsp but No Channels. The SATS you have will be High Lighted in BOLD in the SAT list.
Double click on the SAT you have in the SAT list and it will open up all the Channels on that SAT in the right column then you can EDIT your channels.

One other thing when using Channel Master or Ch Editor187 and that is after loading a bin to your receiver and it seems that your channel list had gotten wiped out because Receiver display shows ON or you see ENGLISH on the TV, Channel Master or Ch Editor187 will still read your channel list from your receiver. Maybe hard to believe but true.

Next time your Channel List gets wiped out and receiver display only shows ON, open Channel Master or Ch Editor187 and Read your receiver. Your SAT settings (which always remains unless doing a System Reset or Factory Setting) will be there along with the channels you had in your receiver even though they seem that there not there. Then you can write channel list back to receiver and all channels will come back after write is complete as if you used they Channel List you had.

I still prefer fresh scan but for those who have trouble scanning or prefer using a channel list something else for you to try in case you misplace the channel list you had or for those who never used a channel list and don't know how to scan or know what your Antenna Settings are (even though you should)..

end c/p
