Proxy Setup for Newbies
What is Proxy?
proxy server is a server (a computer system or an application program) which services the requests of its
clients by forwarding requests to other servers. A client connects to the proxy server, requesting some
service, such as a file, connection, web page, or other resource, available from a different server. The
proxy server provides the resource by connecting to the specified server and requesting the service on
behalf of the client.


For best practice, I would recommend you to change your proxy server at least once every couple of
weeks. It is not a good idea to connect to only one proxy for ever.
In order to use proxy you have to
install Software version 1.44 or
later.
To get to proxy screen
Menu‐>Internet‐>Proxy
Connection
Press OK On the same screen.
How To configre proxy for nFusion Nova


Turn the Proxy ON
Input the proxy server IP that you
want to use.
You need to put exactly what port
that server use.
in this example i use the following
IP: 148.233.159.58
Port: 0080


Press Exit when you done
if you got the right proxy
server, your stb should
display picture in ~5sec
after you pressed EXIT:
