Question Reload or Not??

I had a previous post on solaris and had originally loaded 153.1 as first s/w, would that cause freezing sparatically, reason 4 asking ive seen post that said it wont hurt and some that say not to load first. If it causes freezing, do you load u48 with serial cable and wipe it, then reload what 151 152 then rescan, then possibly upgrade later to 153. Any help this freezing constantly is annoying. Thanks in advance...

I don't think the file is making you channels freeze, you need to check your dish alignment and settings, or your internet might be a little slow if you are sharing your wireless

i am using wireless router with powerline adapter, didnt seem to be this bad in beginning, just wonder about that paticular file being used right off the start? Also powerline adapter would they cause slow down? The signal basically is going from dsl router to wireless router, then ethernet into powerline adapters, What your saying is even though you aren't true wirelss to stb it could still slow things down, IF so would faster dsl resolve problem or no? Thanks again to all!!!

are you plugged into surge protectors with your adapters.you dont really have to have real fast internet, high speed is suggested cause it is always on.the nf will work with dial up.so it may be your alignment or your router or adapters.if u can hard wire your nf and see if it makes a diff
