Phoenix or Solaris

If its time to upgrade boxes which is the one to buy. Several sites say that Phoenix is the upgrade for Nova and others say the Solaris. Which one is up and working?

WOULD strongly suggest you think long and hard about how you spend your money in these tough economic times,,i would just wait it out see whats going to work,,but if you can't wait ,,,Ask yourself these questions...

Who has had the greatest success in the past?

Who has had the least down time in the past?

Who has had the least freezing in the past?

Am I willing to risk investing in an unproven system?

Answer those questions and make your own decision.

Make a choice and run with it. but i still would wait,,,ddd

I have had a nova for over a year after switching from Pansat. I have been pleased and wish to go with Nfusion again if the Solaris or Pheonix are up and working. Thanks for the advice.

if you want to watch 30 channels that freeze every 5 to 10 mins then nfusion is the box for you.i personally would wait if i were you.it is not quite worth the money yet.

I DO NOT TEST.I DO NOT CONDONE ANY ILLEGAL ACTIVITY.ANY INFO THAT I SEEK OR PROVIDE IS SOLELY FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.USE AT YOU OWN RISK.USE YOUR STB FOR TRUE FTA CHANNELS ONLY

Experience....what you get when you don't get what you want.
i know nothing and anything i say is pure speculation,i am basically brain dead for all practical purposes

nobody knows how long nfusion is going to last but if you are trying to decide between the solaris or pheonix, i have both and the pheonix is worth the little more that it costs, it has a card reader, channel/volume on the box solaris requires remote which will suck if you loose or break it and the pheonix has faster channel change and epg loading due to faster processor and more memory, they run on the same bin file, they are basically the same box with the pheonix being pimped out lol..

I have a Phoenix and like it. I just bought it right before the N3 switch. It is picking up WAY more channels than my over the air antenna is so I am happy with it.
