Smile Help, but no Hurry

Well, I got tired of not being able to get 91W (B**) so I moved my dish from the side of my house, where I couldn't rotate it far enough to the east, to the back of my house. I now get B** fabulouly and am enjoying it! However, I noticed when I rotated back to get 100 and 119 that 110 overrides 119 no matter what my settings seem to be. I have the file telling me what settings to use for port 1 and port 2 and have used it with much success when my dish was over on the side of my house, so I think I know what to put my settings on.

I have a Dish 1000 with a DISH Pro Plus Twin LNBF combined with a single Dish Pro LNB. Before moving it to the back the output fromt the single LNB (129) was hooked into the input of the Twin LNBF. Since my receiver is not HD, I just disconnected the connection between 129 and the twin LNBF input. Right now, I have the LNBF LINE OUT 1 connected to my Solaris and LNBF LINE OUT 2 not connected to anything. Works fine for B**. However, I would like to be able to get both 110 and 119 sometime in the future. I have rigged my Captive Works 800 up with a small TV and set it out back by my dish so I can raise and lower and rotate while watching the signal on the CW800. I just can't seem to find a place where 110 and 119 both come in.

I probably forgot to mention something, so ask anything you need to and as always, THANKS in advance for any help...this site is GREAT!!!

you have to find the 110 sat first and the 119 will be there, if you hit the 119 first you will never be able to get the 110, sounds crazy but beleive me it is true. the easiest way to do that is cover you 119 lnb with foil so it wont pick up anything, and then find the 110 sat.

People with that issue have either had success with rebooting their box, or as going as far as doing a factory default and reseting up their box for DN as they did when they first got their box. If one does not work the other should. Also have to make sure you are correctly retuning your dish when moving back to 119,w and 110w. sats..There has been alot of Nfussion testers complaining of this issue even when going back to a pretuned dish that was never moved and worked prior. So if you are sure you have your dish tuned correctly then I suggest the above. Another hint that you may have to do the above is that while in the 119w setup menu you have had zero success locking onto 119w sat no matter of what movement you have made. If you still have issues post back for other options..

Remember to hit the THANKS button if my post was helpfull (Or annoying...hehe)

Hi Frogfinch! sound like your 119 eye is looking at 110 orbit and your 110 is looking at 101 orbit, you need to rotate your dish more toward west until both eyes lines up with 110/119. and your separate eye for 129, need to take it out and attach to the west side to get 91,You might have to mod the whole thing... move the twin to the east side of disharm and single for 91 on westside of arm, "there's a will, there's a way". Have fun!

Hope someone can help? before I lose it.
I have a Infusion Solaris, can not get it setup. I used it for a very
long time, before all the N3 mess, and for some reason, down loaded
what I thought was a new program N131 downloader, after this I have
a new program. I have tried to find where to do a factory default, but,
it does not give me that option, I just wanted to start over. I can not
get the add dresses set, won't let me. I can get the weather, but that's
it. I can set , and get the Sat's, downloaded, but no pict.
Please, help!!!!!!!!!

download this file to your computer and unzip it first and the try this:

090928_sol_v153_1

web loading is the easiest thing you could ever do.
Make sure you are online and the receiver is turned on

1. Got to menu and scroll down to internet
2. hit ok and scroll down to network information and hit ok again
3. the ip address is the top number, you need to type that into your address bar on your computer, nothing else, not www. or anything. Here is an example below.
(for instance if you number is 194.165.000.001
you would type in 194.165.0.1
if you have zeros in the number leave the first two out like the example.)

4. hit enter button on your computer. and the webloader will automatically come up

5. Enter in user ID: admin and password: 0000,
6. then with the browse button go to where you down loaded and unzipped the latest file and open it
7. then click onto upload, it will only take about a minute or less to upload the file, you will see your box change to counting down the numbers and then reboot itself and then go back to the channel you were watching. it works the same way with wireless, you don't have to hook anything to the receiver, just keep it like it is. It works on any channel except PPV. again do not S/W update from the menu
Here is a video from youtube.com that DDD posted… makes it even easier.
