Nova with open wifi

Could a Nova be connected to the internet thru a open wifi?
Like a hotel, cafe, or a neighbors open WiFi?
What adapter do you need to connect to the ethernet port on the back of the Nova to reiceve WiFI?
Is this a smart way to connect? How traceable is this conection?

if ur next door buddy has an open wifi connection all you need is a wireless router(wireless G from linksys)it would be a wonderful way to connect and i would think that it is a pretty safe way to connect,as long as your neighbor doesnt notice that it is you stealing it and he knocks the sh*t out of you
