failed to connect to server

hi all...ive finished with the installation could someone please tell me why it says failed to connect to server when i go to software upgrade...i know the internet connection is fine..is there anything else i am not aware of??? ....thanks

there is no upgrade for it to go to, if there were it would flash on tv screen an ask you if you want to update

but i am not getting any channels...what should i do...ive completed all the procedures and it scanned perfectly...it says service not available...

If you are trying to get *** it is down right now. If that is the case turn your dish so you can get DN. It is up.

a red light in the front of the box is supposed to come on signifying that i am connected to the server and then the box is supposed to update itself using the latest file on the server...i believe that is the way the channels will come through...as of right now...apart from channel 500 info channel etc...everything else says service not available...and when i go to software upgrade..the window blinks twice and then says "failed to connect to server" retry or cancel...ive tried everything resetting the cable modem...the router ...settings are all good...network on ...emulaor off ...auto update on...etc...please let me know if this is a server problem that i am not in control of...as this seems to be a common problem metioned a few times before..

Probably you lost the i.p. adress,internet= network information and see what happen, see your program, nfusion channel in your computer, need match with your receiver

when i turn on the box it says suns connected then after a lil while it says disconnected...is tht any help??
