ML , thanx for your response, you always have valuable info. I have heard some things, but only rumors, so It does not make sense to post rumors.

Mike.

Theirs no rumours Mike... C/W just simply stated that they are going *** because of the hurdles involved with an EMU based fix. This may be to sell some of their top end model (CW4000) plus sell their ***.. ***'s for that top end model. You will probably see that the ***'s will only work with the 4000 unit. They might allow it to work with the 800 but time will tell. They have to make money too... so this is their way of keeping their business going. I expect more will follow. A standalone fix may still be viable but CW simply admitted that it will be quite some time until they can figure all the details out. This does not state on the progress or lack their of by another coding group like Cyphris or others. They might be closer then CW to a standalone fix or simply cluless...no one really knows. Thats why I take my hat off to CW for making a statement that truly addresses many questions their customers have about the future of their present boxes. From what I read it plainly says if you have a model older then the 4000 then you will need to upgrade to be compatible with their planned *** solution. Hopefully they will make the 600's or at least the 800's compatible also...but that is up to them.

Remember to hit the THANKS button if my post was helpfull (Or annoying...hehe)
