Alot of sites that have been down all this time are also showing signs of life and are posting the release of the fix in a couple of days.. I sure hope this rings out to be true too! Thanks N2 News for keeping us updated all this time.. Hope its pans out for all us Viewsats!

you r right, i am using nf right now but cant wait to get my vs back out the closet.

That is why I won't be too upset if this rumour is false because my Nfusion is working just nicely.... But I sure do miss my VS Pro's PVR capabilities and overall-quality... but the Phoenix's picture quality is not to shabby... much better then the Solaris's in my opinion as I have both.... Time will tell but either way I'm watching TV so no complaints here....

same here no complains. you r right about pvr function. nf has a poor pvr function even with the aftermarket sw. plus you have to keep your computer running. neways, cross your finger and hope for this one to be true and the vs world will be blessed again.

Folks the sept. 17th release was a rumor started by another site it was not VS site that started, stated,the rumor or said this.
OK its like this here the civil suite against the 3 guys that where charged has been settled they go to court on the 23 sept. to finalize it but deals have been made.So now vs coders can move forward.They could not release a fix while the case was ongoing now that it is settled and over they can move on.There is a BIG piture here and alot more to it than alot know about.
Besides from what i have been reading cards are up but are dealerware only at this time nothing public for them yet.The same way it started with N-2.
I am sure Cyphris has a good reason for laying low lately.......

I said that all along, Cyphris wanted to lay low until the heat was off a bit. why add gasoline to a fire, let it burn out then move in to clean things up. I used to think it was all about the money, but I've been reading around the net and now beleive that they just wanted to lay low for a while, they most likely had a fix a long time ago, but because of all the law suits being put out by DN and ES they didn't want to release it to the public and draw any more attention to themselves. Now that all this lawsuit business is behind them, they can move on forward and start supporting their clients again. I for one love my VS which is one reason I never bought into the NF market. I guarantee you though, NF made a lot of dough these past few months with VS being down because that was the only way to go if you wanted FREE TV. I'll be glad to see VS put a fix out there, I like the quality of my VSUltra, it's much better than even the actual DN recievers. Go VS! Go...Go...Go...
