Cool dish smart card

Hello,

Does anyone have any info about the dish smart cards that were sent out? What are they for? Should we install them or not? Will it mess with the sonicview recievers?:

wow, thats an interesting question. I think i heard something about dn switching there encryption system to lock out pirates, and so they need to send out cards to support the new software. Yes you DO need to install them into your dn receivers, and no it will in no way interfer with your fta boxes. Hope this info helps, as it is new info to all of us, and we are all on the edge of our seats to see what dn does next. BG
