Lost & Confused
I have a d**h sat reciever off of a multi room set up with dish pro 500 sat but can not get it to work anyone able to help me or tell me what i need? Thanks

The reciever is from a sat provider didn't know if i needed a dp 44 switch for it to work and or diff lnb's

probably not answering because you are not making yourself very clear. If you have a provider box then you would need to get the provider to come out and hook up other rooms, and actually everyone who posts in the forums is a paying customer...

* hook up a paid reciever from a multi room set up somewhere else have d*** 500 sat with new style reciever get 1 sat with no switch have older reciever now can't get anything

older receiver will not work, needs to be activated by provider... activate where you have subscription and then move to new location...
