I hooked up my NFusion hd To the Internet wirelessly thru my router following the setting instuctions and my receiver works just fine.
Now my questions are:
1. What is the internet for, if the upgrading of the bin file is done thru the USB flash drive containing the latest bin?
2. Is the internet helping the receiver to upgrade with the newst bin automatically?
3. Is the NFusion hd doesn't work without hooking it up to the internet and why?
Thanks.

Getting 12 Int'l channels with excellent audio/video reception but:

(1) no EPG
(2) Switch detects connection only on Port-3
(3) No signal strength (through switch) for 61.5
(4) 110 and 119 both shows strong signals (through switch, but only on port-3) and surprisingly shows 110 and 119 lock-on 61.5

Plese help. Thank you.

What files should i have on my pc. ? I have set up the internet connection to my isp and did get the ip address ( 192.168.000.179 )
Typed it in and got the factory flash file screen, it also has R3X 1.30 _U51, but can not do anything with that.
The instructions say to start up your v1.31 loader
is the name of the file built into the receiver. ? or do i have to go on line and have that on my pc? tried and searh for loader and had no luck for a actual file.

So please what files should i pre load on my pc and where do i find them

I have been reading the help files for a week and a half and maybe suffering from over load of information.

Also do i use the manual that came with receiver to set it up before doing the above. ? so far searching does not show any channels, i do have a switch for the reuglar sytem and using one foo the ports off the sw 46 for fta.

Thanks folks

Has anyone tried to set up a router using the instructions for here? I have wireless internet coming into the house through the phone line with B*ll dsl modem, I've hard wired my Linksys wireless router to the **** dsl modem after following the instructions on setup of the wireless ethernet bridge and couldn't get a connection. Is my lynksys router considered a wireless bridge? I'm new to the nfusion system and am trying to catch up on things.
My Lynksys router is on the list of tested and working with the Solaris. I'm going to give it another shot tonight but wondering if these instructions have worked for all but me.

Thanks, I would really appreciate any info at all. It would be nice to watch a few extra channels this weekend :))
