Hey I was just wondering whats going on we keep going in circle with this issue don't get me wrong i know everybody is putting in the hard work to get everything up and running. But I think we the ones buying the sub and stb are getting left in the dark on alot of things . If this is a money thing i would say most people would buy the stb with the better support and info on whats going on. i own a few stb cw800, solaris ,vs ultra ,sonic i like them all for diff. reason but none of them keep updates on whats going on sure i have some channels on some stb and i'm greatful for that but whats happening whats next I dont care to wait for whatever is needed to, just update us on everything thats going on and not just all the here say thats just gets our hopes up and keep us checking get us some info to keep us buying so we can keep this industry alive because the longer it takes to get the info on whats going on the less they are selling to keep up with what the next move on the technology that is ever andvancing. Again Thanks for all the hard work and Idont want to seem like I'm complaining because I'm really not just want to know whats happening with everything or anything. FTA FOREVER

I think it would help you to understand what's going on if you would take the time to read a few of the other posts on this forum.

and just take some time to read what others have posted in other parts of the forum.
basically, the decryption has changed (not just the file) and the coders are hard working at hacking the code...
it may take weeks or even months, but my guess is sooner than we think.
hang in there, no other site has fixes yet...we are always the first to post them.
don't be paranoid, no one planned this to make more money on the sale of stb's...it's just D*shnet's way of making our lives a little less enjoyable.

As it is nothing has changed. There is nothing currently to update about. N3 still isn't cracked in North America (or if it has been they are still testing because of freezing, etc), until it is, nothing much will change.

i read here in one of the forms a couple months back,that europe hakers and coders could not figure out the N3 and invited the americans over to help them out,and work together on N3 and supposively they did.. after reading this post,well the americans should of or been on top of this and had it figured out and up and running by now..so tell me is this post i read here on N2news a bunch of hog wash or is it true?? well you would think that this N3 would have been solved by now, after all we have known of its comeing for how long??

knowing that n3 is coming is different than when it is here.if you call a car mechanic and tell him something is wrong with your car,he will tell you to bring it in.although he knows that the car is coming,he cant start working on it til it arrives.before he can fix it, he has to figure out how to fix it.depending on how hard of a fix it is will determine how long it will take to fix your car.if nag2 is like changing a battery,n3 is a total rebuild of your engine and transmission.

Yeah, that's not likely at all. Come on now, Everything's been gone, what? a month? Two months? You'd better believe that things take time. You can't start working on something based on what you 'think' will happen, you have to have it based on what you know will happen.

EU and US programming are vastly different. One won't work in the other, and you'll probably get people throwing things in the mix just to confuse programmers.

Yet there is literally nothing that can be done about it until it finally all hits. Designing code based off of betas can result in issues, designing code based off of anything pre-release can result in issues, so the developers must wait until everything is released before putting out 'fixes'.

Patience is key here. Yeah, I know people want things immediately. We live in the age of microwaves, fast cars, and fast food, but some things you just absolutely must be patient for.

Let's put this in a bit better perspective:

Would you load a beta/alpha tested file on your expensive box and have it brick it? Or would you sit, be patient, and wait for stable releases. Of course, you'd wait for the stable release, as opposed to turning your box into a brick. Well, those releases will (eventually) come out, be patient!

To K&J with all due respect you just need to chill out. When it comes it comes no one can make it go faster. You know that the coders are working their butts off. This site will let us know what's going on as soon as they find out something. Just read a little every day and wait like the rest of us. You do understand that a "fix" may never come! Have faith in the FTA way.

yes!!! exactly!!! you hit that nail on the head...... i always want to say something on here but i don't have to because your 1 step ahead.

Take some time to read what others have posted in other parts of the forum. Sad that some of you don't appreciate all these years of excellent support but when a major transition occurs to the entire industry, we are quick to moan/groan.

Just be patient....they will not let you (us) down.
