Need New Files
hi my name is Joao and im trying to get new files from august 23,2009 for Coolsat 6100 and i have just signed up for the membership and i would like to get the new files because all it shows is the old ones thank you.

Welcome, but at this point and for a while there have not been any files for coolsat. Just real FTA use for coolsat.

True FTA is the free stuff tht is available on some of the sats. There is a lot of free stuff up there. You just need to read up on it. 123W and 97W are a couple of the sats. You will need a linear LNB for these sats though.

Check out lyngsat.com for a listing of the sats and what is available on them.

Coolat is dead my friend.. in the sense that you will not beable to view "pay" tv using 3rd party software with any coolsat ever again.....They were creamed in court and have all but packed it in. Barring a mirace Norw Group (the guy's who write their fixes) are done coding also...especially for coolsat. They are exellent boxes for true FTA as BigBee has mentioned. If you do not like the idea of true FTA programming then you will need to buy an Nfusion box (***) if you expect to see any "pay" tv programming any time soon.

Okay you guys are confussing me with thistrue fta stuff ... so yeah yeah i get the picture by now after searching for three day .. so tell me how to get true fta cause thats all i'll be able to do cant afford a new box unless yoiu know where i can get a cheap one that doesnt require internet service...?

Read this long post. It will give you an idea on what you need to do to set up a dish for getting the true fta sats.
