081229 Sat Info w/110 and 119 TPs Corrected

081229 Sat Info w/110 and 119 TPs Corrected

**File Name**
081229_Sat_Info.ndf

**Zip Name**
081229_Sat_Info_with_110_and_119_TPs_Corrected.zip

**Made For**
Coolsat 4k, 5k, 6k

**Tool Required**
Coolsat Pro Loader 2.4

**Created by**
jyjy

**date**
12/29/2008

**Purpose and What was Fixed**
I fixed Transponders (TP) errors on Satellites ******** 10,11 (aka 6,8) 110.0w and ******** 7 119.0w. Each time you DATABASE RESET/FACTORY SET receiver, or load the factory file, or do a NVRAM CLEAR, you will have to load this file after, because many times those default settings will default to bogus or wrong TPs for each satellite. Causing you to get duplicated channels and also channels that never give you EPG info. As well as cause your Coolsat to get frequently "Scramble Channel" screens. Loading this file will help you get the best auto-scan of the channels that correspond to your beamspot and footprint. I also corrected the FEC data for the transponders. And I also renamed satellite ******** 6,8 to ******** 10,11.

**Instructions**
Go to Menu > Installation > Dish Setting > then write down your settings for Satellite 110 and 119 -- be sure to write this information exactly for each individual Satellite, as you will later need to renter these settings in order to make your connection work.
_
Extract the file with Winzip or XP's default Extract Tool. You can also use WinRAR. At the end you should see a file called: 081229_Sat_Info.ndf
_
Connect your receiver to your PC using the Serial Cable. Make sure you Receiver is in StandBy Mode (in clock view "red" LED is on)
_
Open "Coolsat Pro Loader 2.4" Click the "Channels" tab. Select "To Receiver" and "Normal Channels". Browse for the file you downloaded and extracted. Press Connect and just let the tool do it's magic! After it completes your receiver should return back to StandBy Mode, Turn OFF switch in the back, connect your receiver back to your TV and LNB connections.
_
Now go to Menu > Installation > Dish Setting > then reset your satellite settings for 110 and 119 to the way you had it before loading this file (just use your notes from step 1). If you don't know how to set this correctly, please ask in the Coolsat Discussions section

_
Go to Menu > Installation > Auto Scan. Select by highlighting 110 and 119 by pressing OK. Turn OFF "Network Search". Then do scan by pressing OK. (If you highlighted both satellites, it will auto-scan both satellites and all the channels from the TPs you loaded. After it completes, Exit the Menu, and enjoy your channels. Allow some time for EPG to populate. Enjoy!
