Diseqc. port1

I have my nano2 set up and all is ok. I am trying to set up my brothers and all is the same but the Diseqc. port Mine works fine on port 1 Echo10/11 110W when we try to set his on port one we get no SQ reading. But if we put it on Diseqc 2 we get SQ 95 on both but only 130 Ch. and the screen on tv is black. He lives 80 miles north of me. When i hook his up at my home it works fine on port 1Diseqc with a lot of ch. I hope i did this right so it can be understood. Please help. THANK YOU...

We tryed that and no luck. We only get a SQ 95 when we are on Disqc2 with Echo10/11 110W. If we put anything on Diseq1 there is no SQ just black no green and blue bars. Also you have LNB-OCS-DP what and where is this found? Is there a step by step so we can see if eveything is right. We must be missing something. We can not even get the info. ch. We must be doing something wrong. I have tv on mine he has nothen on his. Thanks again

Have you tried to re-aim his dish, is there obstacles in the line of sight. Rule of thumb you have approximately 30 degrees line of sight. For instance when you look at it from a side view are there any trees, buildings or such that would block the signal from reaching the dish at 30 degrees. I live on an acreage and had a similar problem had to cut half an acre of trees to get the line of sight. I just put in a tower now I have a huge yard now need a riding lawnmower wow this is an expensive habit.

If he is using a disequ switch i bet he has the ports reversed...Also 119w will show very weak strength untill you go to scan it and the menu pops up allowing you to change the tp freq to 12239Mhz as it is set to 12224Mhz by default....the signals will then skyrocket on that sat if set-up correctly....when you hit seach it takes up to 3mins for any channels to start scanning (almost looks like it is frozen) don't worry wait channels will start scanning if set right..

Remember to hit the THANKS button if my post was helpfull (Or annoying...hehe)
