Please allow up to 10 minutes for picture to show.

I tried to load the new files on my receiver and the beta one says it;s not a valid file. How do I load the other file? It gives me 3 choices. S/W upgrade, S/W and all data upgrade andBoot loader upgrade. What one of these 3 do I choose?

New D?ngle File for the CNX Nano(1), Mini, Duo, and Trio. These are D?ngle updates only.
No need for updated boot software with this release.

CNX D?ngle Setup Instructions

1. Upgrade your CNX Nano, Mini, Duo or Trio with the latest "Upgrade" file (Boot Loader).
[All Current Upgrade Files are posted on hxxp://cnxdongle.org

2. After the upgrade goto Menu -> Accessory ->RS-232 Mode and select Type to D?ngle

For CNX Nano 2 Only: Set RS-232 to Normal. Ignore steps 5 thru 7.
On Step 8, You set your network settings up under Menu -> Installations -> Network

3. Connect the CNX D?ngle to the RS-232 Serial Port.

4. Connect the Category 5 Patch cable to the CNX D?ngle.

5. After about 10 seconds the CNX D?ngle will boot up complete and will activate the network settings. You should notice the ethernet turn on and light up your router or switch port.
Go to Menu -> System Information
On the very bottom line it should show the CNX D?ngle software version

6. If it shows the version it means connected but if it shows Unknown it means not connected.

7. When Connected go to USB Menu and select the DGL(cnx D?ngle upgrade file.).
A. It should start to upgrade the CNX D?ngle.
B. After the upgrade please check the System Information in the Menu and make sure the upgraded version is the latest (IX-X00-E_A2.0.6_T1927.dgl)

8. Go to Menu Accessory -> RS-232 Mode and select Network IP Setup.

9. Your CNX receiver will then read the D?ngle IP information and display it. If the IP information shows Auto or Manual it means the IP setup has been previously configured.
A. If it shows Not Used it means the setup has not yet been done. If your Category V patch cable is good and it appears there is no problem with the physical connection, please select Auto and Apply.
B. IF you don't see IP information after 20 to 30 seconds there is likely a problem with DHCP on your network or you may need to do a manual network setup.

10. When the network setup has been performed successfully, go to a B?V or DN N3 encrypted channel and the CNX D?ngle will try to connect to the support server.
Press OK
A. Many Dish and B?V channels should be working for now. More channels will come very soon and will be posted on the CNX D?ngle Channel List.
B. If no video/audio shows up on your CNX Nano it means that there is some sort of problem, which may include a problem with the seoftware and/or the server or your network connection failed.
The CNX ****** *** Suppport Team hopes to have more channels up soon with the exception of local programming.

NB / PS - I didn't write this, jacked it from here (which was jacked from another site). No offense, if you can't make your FTA work after reading on this site, you probably should get a sub, antenna etc. I'm sure as MANY on here remember, we hand built circuit boards, dinkied with code, had wires running everywhere, had dedicated PC's set up to manage our testing and some of us lost our wives to this hobby - seriously, I did. If ANYONE thought it was free benefit's vs. testing - Let me assure you - add up the cost's of all I mentioned above, chuck in a new stb or two every year - if free TV was all people were after, they would have saved a TON (TONNE - Eh) of money just sub'ing....Goodluck to all

I've tried to get the file on my receiver for an hour and all I get is waiting. Then it just goes back to the usb screen and nothing downloads. A lot of you instructions are blaned out. Please let me know what the blanked out words are. Thanke

I tried the latest file and did not click. Think that the mini is only having USB and not hook to internet so please isolate the Mini from the Nano as the Nano is hook with internet. Is there anyfile really for Mini? Thanks.

The new file doesn't have anything to do with the Mini receiver. We need a file that can be saved to the flash drive abd then downloaded to our receivers.
Please let us know when there is a fix for our receivers, Thanks
