Red face Any News About N3 Fix

I am still hoping soon we will hear a good news. I am out of TV since the blackout. Don't want to get the cable at this point.
Any idea how soon we can get all our channels back?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

I just talked to the guy who installed my Satellite before told me that people are using router and internet to watch DN.
Can someone please explain how that works and what are the pros and cons?
I was told that I need a rounter and a new box but he didn't tell me which brand just told me that the box cost $280 cdn.
Anyone?

Doesn't it seem odd that a installer would say something like this? It sure does to me.

All information provided is purely speculation as I do not test. Use the provided information at you own risk.

This is true i am using receiver dp 301 connected to PC with RJ11 which update keys. Key file acts as smart card which runs on your PC and talks to server somewhere which feeds updated keys from D*.
Package is d* 200 classics+H*O+S***TME+STARZ plan at $30/mnth +150 for receicer

i could be wrong but i think we was talking about the local fta guy that buys fta boxes and dishes and sets you up for an a nice feeand then probably hits you up for another $20 when a new bin is needed.thats why he would not say what kind of box it is so he could sell him a solaris for the low low price of 280 big onesim in the wrong business

You are right. The guy provide the dishes and boxes and set u up for a fee. He installed mine last time with CW 600sp (which he provided) to see 110W DN. Now that CW is not working I asked him what he is doing for other people and then he said that he is setting them up with Router and Box (Don't know which one).
My question how it is different from nfusion (Router and other box) and what I have to do for sattelite direction or other technical thing in order to get this running if I choose to use nfusion. Do I still need router?
