Has Captain gone out of business??

I tried to call captain because I wanted to take advantage of my warranty but for some reason I get no response in any emails to them and as well as their number doesnt work so this to mean sounds like the end of the captain days. Can anyone confirm to dispute this??

Are you trying to contact Captain directly or the dealer you bought the box from?? I would try both.

They appear to still be listed on the stock market. I would try other numbers like some of their dearler sites listed in the "where to buy section" or try the Canadian number if the American one is not working visa-versa either way you should be-able to get a hold of someone able to direct you better.

LOL !! Well they are not out of business and I have to say that Captain has the nicest and most friendly tech support team I am buying a new cord from them to try to flash and if that doesnt work I am getting a brand new box!! and also they have never had anyone have this same problem so I guess I am the First (Sounds like my luck) Anyways Thumbs up for Captain!!

Captain is still up

I just had my box serviced because the usb reader went bad they sent me a new box and really rocked with fast service try using there email on there website it took a little while for them to get back with me but once they did they tried to help me as much as possible I got emails around the clock!! when they shipped it back they even gave me the rs-232 cable and the usb adapter for it I say they might not pick up the most channels but they sure know how to run a business maybe they need to come to the us!!
