Captain 7100 not working and froze
Captain 7100 USB , has frozen on channel 168 and will not change or function, when it does a hard reboot it still remains at the same status ,froze and no functions

Did u try unplugging it completely from the main power and then power it back on again?

I unplugged it from the outlet and let it stay that way for 2 days , plugged it back in and still the same way. could the bin be causing this ? It's locked up to the point were I can't pull the menu or anything up. stays on the 1 channel and nothing else will work. I wish I could provide more details but the way it's locked up will not allow me to look at my settings.

I unplugged from dish and did the re-boot but when it powers on it will not allow me to press any buttons and stays froze for a few secs on channel 168 then it will re-start on it's on. It will not allow me to install new files or change the channels. The whole system remains frozen til it restarts by it's self. This is happening with and without the cable from the dish installed and it's been unplugged and restarted.
