That spot would work fine, even if the pole is not perfectly level, the mast bracket can level your dish up for you, it just has to be solid. Make sure where ever you put it, you are comfortable standing behind it for a while, ie. on a ladder or scaffold. It will take some time to make all the adjustments. I saw a bunch of nice motor kits on ebay for 125 + shipping (33). Those should do the trick for you. Let us know when you get it bud.
